Ravensara Aromatica
Origin: Madagascar
Sizes: 15mL, 120mL
Botanical Family: Lauraceae
Latin Name: Ravensara aromatica aka Cryptocarya agathophylla
Description: The aroma of Ravensara (also referred to as the Madagascar Clove) is strong, camphorous, and medicinal with sweet, woody elements that give it an earthy softness. Ravensara (Ravensara aromatica) and Ravintsara (cinnamomum camphora) are two different botanicals that have often been confused within aromatherapy culture, but deserve to be distinguished and recognized for their differing aromatic profile and therapeutic benefits. Both plants belong to the Lauraceae family, meaning they both offer significant energetic and physical immune system support and protection, as Laurels do in general. Ravensara essential oil is useful for respiratory conditions, such as congestion, the common cold, flu, or bronchitis. Ravensara makes a great anti-infectious preventative; whether diffusing, steam inhalation, using as a cleaning agent, or topical application. Ravensara is also anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, expectorant and a nerve tonic. It can be useful for general fatigue and stress relief, for pre menses pain/cramping, as well as detoxification, heart palpitations, and angina. Energetically and emotionally, this essence is both mentally stimulating and revitalizing, yet emotionally calming and comforting to the individual who feels depleted or depressed from life's challenges. Use Ravensara for personal power, commitment, and real life integration of healthy boundary setting for harmony and wellbeing in all aspects of one's life! Ravintsara & Ravensara pair well together when integrating new revelations around one's energetic immune system and energetic protection/boundaries.
